Why Safepoint Consulting

Most security companies focus on selling cameras, alarms, or monitoring services.

Safepoint Consulting takes a different approach.

We provide independent security assessments designed to identify vulnerabilities and improve safety before problems occur. Because we do not sell equipment or installation services, our recommendations are unbiased and focused entirely on reducing risk.

Led by a law enforcement professional with more than a decade of experience evaluating security risks, Safepoint Consulting applies real-world perspective to help clients strengthen protection for their homes, communities, and gathering spaces.

  • Independent advice

  • No equipment sales

  • Practical recommendations

How a Security Assessment Works

A woman and young boy playfully laughing and hugging on a white couch in a bright living room with natural light, decorative shelves, potted plants, and a tray with a cup and a lantern.

Our process is simple, professional, and designed to help you clearly understand where vulnerabilities may exist and what improvements can strengthen safety.

  • We begin by learning a few basic details about your property, your concerns, and the type of assessment you are looking for. This helps us understand your situation and prepare for the walkthrough.

  • During the assessment, we evaluate the property from a real-world security perspective. This may include entry points, lighting, visibility, garage access, camera coverage, and other conditions that could increase vulnerability.

  • Following the walkthrough, you receive practical recommendations designed to improve safety and reduce risk. Our goal is to help you focus on the changes that matter most without unnecessary upgrades or sales pressure.

What We Evaluate

Every property is different, but our assessments focus on the areas that most often affect safety, visibility, and vulnerability.

  • We evaluate front doors, secondary doors, locks, visibility, and other access points that could create opportunities for unauthorized entry.

  • We look at exterior lighting, dark areas, lines of sight, and visibility around the property to identify places where poor lighting or concealment may increase risk.

  • We review garage access, parking areas, side yards, and other exterior spaces that may create vulnerabilities or reduce visibility around the property.

  • If cameras or other security measures are already in place, we evaluate coverage, blind spots, and overall effectiveness to identify where improvements may be needed.

  • We also consider package delivery areas, routine household habits, and other everyday factors that may unintentionally increase exposure or reduce security.

Our goal is to identify practical improvements that strengthen protection without unnecessary upgrades.
